I ordered the goods on Wednesday, August 29, 2026 and received them on Friday, August 31, so perfect. I tested the AL902 laser over the weekend. I focused on the features that will be important for our application: Supply voltage, frequency and accuracy.
Voltage: 6.5 - 30V (10 - 35V according to the datasheet)
Frequency: 0 - 800Hz (up to 10kHz - I had no choice but to go higher)
Accuracy: < 0.004 mm (< 0.01 mm)
We performed all measurements at 25 C.
I then tested the temperature change with regard to accuracy. The deviation we measured corresponded to the thermal expansion of the Al case. The device still worked at 55 C, we didn't want to bother it any further.
There is nothing to add. Perfect product at an affordable price.
